Drone Sensei ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Drone Sensei mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account using Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo (if provided by the identity provider). We do not receive or store your passwords.

Study Data

We collect data about your study activity, including questions answered, answers selected, time spent, accuracy rates, category performance, study streaks, and session history. This data is used to provide personalized study recommendations and track your progress.

Device Information

We may collect device type, operating system version, and app version for crash reporting and performance optimization.

Subscription Information

If you subscribe to Drone Sensei Premium, Apple processes and manages your payment. We receive a transaction identifier to verify your subscription status but do not have access to your payment method details.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• Personalize your study experience (adaptive difficulty, spaced repetition scheduling)
• Calculate readiness scores and progress analytics
• Send study reminders and streak notifications (with your permission)
• Verify subscription status
• Respond to support requests

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase — database hosting, user authentication, and file storage (Supabase Privacy Policy)
• Google — authentication (Google Sign-In) and AI services for question generation (Google Privacy Policy)
• Apple — authentication (Apple Sign-In) and payment processing (In-App Purchase)

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We do not use your study data for advertising purposes.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase's managed infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. We implement Row Level Security (RLS) policies to ensure users can only access their own data. While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and study data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

You have the right to:
