These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Drone Sensei mobile application and website (the "Service") operated by Drone Sensei ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

Drone Sensei is an educational study tool designed to help users prepare for the FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot certification exam. The Service provides AI-generated practice questions, exam simulations, progress tracking, and study analytics.

2. Important Disclaimer

Drone Sensei is a supplemental study aid and is NOT a substitute for official FAA training, study materials, or guidance. We do not guarantee that using our Service will result in passing the FAA Part 107 exam. Questions are generated using AI and, while based on official FAA documentation, may contain errors. Always verify information against current FAA publications and regulations (14 CFR Part 107). We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Federal Aviation Administration.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Free Tier

The free tier provides limited access to the Service, including up to 5 practice questions per day and basic progress tracking.

Premium Subscription

Drone Sensei Premium is available as a subscription through Apple In-App Purchase. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings
• Any unused portion of a free trial period is forfeited when you purchase a subscription

Pricing is subject to change. We will notify you of price changes before your next renewal.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any purpose other than personal educational study
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the application
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute question content from the Service
• Share your account credentials or allow others to access your account
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure

6. Intellectual Property

All content in the Service — including questions, explanations, software, design, and branding — is owned by Drone Sensei or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. FAA documents referenced in our content are public domain, but our derived questions, explanations, and presentation are original works.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY CONTENT IS ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DRONE SENSEI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time through the app Settings or by contacting support.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms and revising the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
